In order to be eligible for this type of training visa in Australia you must be:

  • Sponsored
  • Nominated by an approved sponsor
  • Invited (if your sponsor is a Commonwealth Government institution)
  • Your nomination and sponsorship have to be attached to your visa application.
  • You must be 18 years old or older at the time we decide your visa application.
  • You and any family members who apply for the visa with you must meet the health requirement.
  • You and family members aged 16 years and over who apply for the visa with you must meet our character requirement.
  • Have adequate health insurance
  • A genuine temporary entrant
  • Sign the Australian values statement
  • Have paid back your debt to the Australian Government
  • Not have had a visa cancelled or a previous application refused
